I have a confession to make: I’ve seen far too many TikTok videos in the past year and a half. During the early days of the COVID-19 shutdown, when many of us were working from home, TikTok became a quick and easy way to divert attention from the harsh realities of a global pandemic. Now, a year and a half later, the social video platform – much like the aforementioned virus itself – has permeated many of our lives and gone viral.
