The event is a collaborative hosted by Action Early Learning Center - Community Action Agency of Western CT and the Danbury Public Schools.

The event offers resources, giveaways, and education for families, which includes meeting with representatives from various local organizations, getting freebies, and gaining important knowledge on resources from health care, vision, dental health, special education services, afterschool programs, kindergarten registration, sports camps, and more. 

The event will have two segments:

From 8:30 am to 10:30 am - The Family University will provide a morning filled with fun activities for kids while parents attend workshops.

The Family University is an all-inclusive platform that engages families as equal partners to improve academic achievement by building and enhancing the capacities of families in the 4 Cs: Capabilities (skills and knowledge); Connections (networking with other families and educators); Cognition (shifting beliefs and values); and Confidence (building skills to support your child).

From 10:30 am to 1 pm - Over 50 community partners and resources from the community will be available to share information about their services.
