COVID-19 has created unprecedented times for communities throughout the world. However, here at the Center for Pediatric Medicine (CPM), our daily responsibilities and medical obligations have not changed. We have faced many challenges that no medical office could ever prepare for. We struggled to acquire proper PPE to keep our staff safe. Our team created drive through testing for Covid and other illnesses. We gave a record number of flu vaccines.  CPM providers quickly learned to do telemedicine visits. These difficult times challenged our staff physically and emotionally.

Nevertheless, our renowned pediatric team of experts, including doctors, APRNs, physician assistants, a lactation consultant, a nutritionist, nurses, a medical receptionist and billers and managers, stepped up, adapted, and overcame these obstacles. As the chief operating officer of the Center for Pediatric Medicine, I proudly applaud all of CPM’s staff members for their courageousness and dedication during these unknown times.

As a practice, we have successfully adapted to COVID-19. We will continue to learn, develop and grow from these experiences. It is imperative that you continue to follow up with your child’s health care, especially during COVID-19. We are encouraging you to book your annual wellness visit. We are open 7 days a week for new and existing patients. Our offices and exam rooms are cleaned and sanitized between each visit. We have implemented several procedures and protocols to ensure your visit is productive and safe. At the Center for Pediatric Medicine, our family takes pride in caring for yours. Since 1992, we have provided families in the Greater Danbury area with high-quality, comprehensive, and personal medical care for children, adolescents, and young adults.

We look forward to growing with you!
