To schedule an appointment, Connecticut residents should visit ct.gov/covidvaccine and enter their zip code in the space provided. From there, they will be presented with a list of the closest available clinics and instructions for how to make an appointment at each clinic. Those without access to the Internet can call Connecticut’s Vaccine Appointment Assist Line at 877-918-2224. The assist line is available seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Appointments are required in advance at all vaccination clinics in the state.
“Connecticut’s healthcare providers have been doing a tremendous job getting the vaccine to our residents, and the reason why our state is among the most vaccinated in the country is because of the remarkable work they have been doing,” Governor Lamont said.
Individuals who are 16 and 17 years old are reminded that they should only sign up for a clinic that is offering the vaccine made by Pfizer, as that is the only vaccine at this point that has been approved for those ages by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Connecticut is currently ranked second in the nation in percentage of population that has received at least one dose.
Vaccine scheduling is currently available for:
- All individuals 16 and older
- Healthcare Personnel
- Longer Term Care Facility Residents
- Medical First Responders
- Residents and staff of select congregate settings
- PreK - 12 school staff and teachers
- Early childhood care providers (These vaccinations will be provided at dedicated clinics specifically set up for that purpose)

The state of CT Department of Consumer Protection warns: beware of vaccine scams.
“We recently learned of a new scam in which criminals pose as vaccine manufacturers and offer consumers a reward for filling out a survey. They claim to need your credit card information to send your reward. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. This is a scam designed to steal your money.
Another scam involves fraudsters sending consumers a letter suggesting vaccines are harmful, and then directing them to a website that steals their personal information. Do not click links to, or visit, this website. Do not give unsolicited persons your personal information. Official entities would never ask you for this information.”
State officials offer these tips to avoid vaccine-related scams:
- Do not pay anything to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
- Ignore sales ads or commercial promotions related to the vaccine.
- Beware of unsolicited offers of rewards or payments for taking the vaccine.
- Do not share sensitive information with people you don’t recognize.
