June was a remarkable month for the Ventura Law firm. Following in the footsteps of its founder, Americo Ventura, a strong believer in education and career opportunities, the firm hosted the 2021 Latino Scholarship Fund (LSF) ceremony in the firm’s lobby, where guests, along with the firm staff and LSF board members, celebrated and recognized the achievement of the scholarship recipients.

“[…] The beauty of presenting tonight’s scholarship in the hallway of this very law firm is not lost on me. Americo Ventura, who is the architect of this law firm, was the son of Portuguese immigrants and he built this law firm with the hope of serving Danbury’s multilingual population… All of this started with a dream of one man,” shared guest speaker Tim Salem, Principal for Scott’s Ridge Middle School in Ridgefield, CT.

Also in June, Ventura Law was honored at the CT Latin Awards for its more than 60 years of service and commitment to the Latino Community. The event was hosted at Arcos Bar & Restaurant in Bethel, CT, on June 13 by Maria Arcos of Arcos Productions and owner of Augie’s Numero #1. Attorneys Adma Moura and Tony Fernandes accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
