- Sabor es de Primavera, a celebration of spring flavors led by guest Executive Chef Luby, co-owner of the renowned Posada Mirador resort in Guadalajara.
- Flavors of The Pacific, where award-winning Chef Marino Maganda Pacheco, celebrated for titles such as Creative Chef Mexico in 2007 and Mexico’s Chef of the Year in 2010, took center stage in July.
- Día de los Muertos, a soulful tribute held on October 29, featuring the culinary artistry of Executive Chef Jose “Pepe” Rodriguez of Basta restaurant in Boulder, Colorado.
Beyond the gastronomic delights, the Vida Dinner Series is committed to supporting important causes. Esaul Rodriguez, founder and CEO of the Puerto Vallarta chain, along with his son Jacob Rodriguez, president of the Puerto Vallarta Group, channel their passion for community engagement into meaningful initiatives. Their contributions include support for local sports teams, Autism Speaks, the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, and the Hope for Haiti project, among others.
In a generous act of giving back, the Rodriguez family donates 20 percent of the gross profits from each fundraiser, ensuring support for those in need.
