Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Opens First Center in Danbury

“The new center provides care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, connecting patients to Nuvance.”

Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care opened a new center in Danbury, Connecticut, on October 30, located at 3 Sugar Hollow Road near the Danbury Fair Mall. This center offers diagnosis and treatment for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, along with easy referrals to Nuvance Health’s network of primary and specialty care providers.

“Having easy access to affordable, high-quality care is important for maintaining our own health and it’s key to building healthy communities,” said Dr. Reed Idriss, medical director for Nuvance Health-GoHealth. “Our neighborhood locations ensure the community has access to personalized healthcare services where people live, work and play.”

The Danbury center is the eighth Nuvance Health-GoHealth center and the third to serve Fairfield County. This new center follows the opening of centers in LaGrangeville, NY, Carmel, NY, North Stamford, CT. and Norwalk, CT. Additional centers in Fairfield and Brookfield are set to open in November.

About the Danbury Center

The center features an award-winning design that includes bold colors, wood accents, and an open floor plan to foster a comfortable patient experience. The center’s warm color palette and lighting also help to ensure patients feel a sense of ease and healing at every stage of their visit.

The new location provides care for the whole family, offering people aged six months and older a wide array of services for various conditions, including the flu, fever, earaches, insect bites, sprains, simple fractures, and eye injuries, as well as cuts requiring stitches. It is open every day, including holidays, with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week.

Seamless convenience and connections to high-quality care

The new Danbury Center provides the community with a more affordable option for high-quality and efficient care outside of higher-cost settings such as emergency departments. It also provides a direct connection to Nuvance Health’s award-winning robust care network.

Patients can walk into any Nuvance Health-GoHealth center or use Nuvance Health-GoHealth’s online “save-a-spot” tool, which allows patients to save time by securing their spot in line, checking in, and completing registration before arriving.
