Much More Than Just Fruits and Vegetables at the Danbury Farmers Market
The Danbury Farmers Market connects local farmers and businesses with the community, offering a wide variety of fresh and healthy products.
It's a great opportunity to discover and support local growers and their passion for healthy food. In addition to the amazing products, the market also focuses on promoting health by providing complimentary blood pressure checks and blood sugar level assessments. To top it off, visitors can enjoy a free yoga class led by Rob Farella from Yogaspace.

For 15 years, the CityCenter Farmers’ Market has been an integral part of Danbury, fulfilling its mission of providing equitable access to fresh food for the community.
The Market accepts cash and credit card payments. According to its website, the Danbury Farmers’ Market Community Collaborative (DFMCC) enables Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly known as food stamps) recipients to use their benefits at the market and match an unlimited amount per market to buy nutritious food. DFMCC also matches Senior and Women, Infant & Children’s program (WIC), and Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program Cards (FMNP).
For those not receiving government food assistance, Fruit and Veggie Health Certificates are available through some community organizations, including a community health center and the Association of Religious Communities.
If it's raining, the CityCenter Danbury Farmers’ Market will be held inside the Patriot Garage at 1 Patriot Drive, the regular parking spot adjacent to the green.
“Come support our local farmers and small businesses by purchasing their fresh produce and homemade crafts. Two-hour courtesy parking with a code provided by a volunteer is available at the Patriot Parking Garage at 21 Delay Street,” concluded Co-Founder/Director/Nutritionist, Peggy Zamore, at Danbury Farmers' Market Community Collaborative.
The CityCenter Danbury Farmers’ Market is located at 1 Ives Street. It will run through October 19, except on Saturday, August 24.
