Immigration Resources: Family Preparedness Plan

The Connecticut Governor's Office has developed a toolkit to assist families concerned about immigration enforcement

By Tribuna Staff

The Connecticut Governor's Office has developed a toolkit to assist families concerned about immigration enforcement, particularly regarding the potential deportation or detention of guardians and its impact on their children.

The documents in the toolkit are available for free, and there is no need for attorneys or court action to utilize them. If you are worried about what might happen to your children if you are detained or deported, it’s advisable to create a family preparedness plan. While we hope you will never need to use this plan, having one in place can help reduce the stress of unexpected situations.

You can download the Connecticut Family Preparedness Plan at https://portal.ct.gov/FamilyPreparedness?language=en_US in several languages, including Arabic, English, French, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
