Join us on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Newtown Congregational Church (14 West Street, Newtown, CT) for an inspiring night featuring local musicians—some of whom are on the autism spectrum—coming together to celebrate the power of music, inclusion, and connection.

An Evening of Entertainment & Giving Back

The evening starts with delicious appetizers at 5:00 PM, as guests enjoy a Raffle Stroll, offering incredible local experiences, including romantic dinners for two, a weekend getaway, a relaxing massage, and more that attendees can enter to win!  Then, get ready to rock as talented local artists take the stage, bringing the best of the 1990s music era to life to celebrate ability, creativity, and community - supporting FUN’s mission to provide a safe, inclusive space for individuals with special needs and their families. A Yummy “Mac Attack” dinner will be served after the concert, featuring mouth-watering macaroni and cheese dishes served with a variety of interesting toppings. And don’t forget, delicious dessert follows!!

Join Us for a Night to Remember!

This occasion is more than an event; it’s a movement. It’s about celebrating neurodiversity, fostering friendships, and making a difference—one song at a time. Whether you're a 90s music lover, a supporter of autism awareness, or simply looking for a great night out, this is a night you won’t want to miss!

Families United in Newtown was established in 2008 by Newtown residents Linda and Duane Jones, with the dream of providing recreational programs and respite for families with special needs children.  Following the tragic death of their son, Tyler, the program blossomed with the support of Newtown High School National Honors Society students.  The first FUN gathering was held in October of 2010, in memory of Tyler, and since then, it has hosted regular events.  FUN provides an outlet for families with special needs children and promotes autism awareness.
