CT Paid Leave’s Community Education Coordinators Provide Hands-On Assistance

By Jessica Vargas

In 2024, CT Paid Leave launched our Community Education Coordinators (CEC) initiative with the goal of increasing outreach and education to communities and workers across the state of Connecticut. Our Community Education Coordinators are non-profits, community organizations, and service providers who can provide culturally sensitive and language specific support to those who are applying for CT Paid Leave benefits.

As of March 2026, CT Paid Leave has partnered with 10 organizations throughout the state who serve in the role of CECs. These partners are able to provide in-person or over the phone application assistance, can answer questions about how the program works, assist businesses and employers with registering for the program and complying with program obligations, and more.

Each organization has established specific methods of providing support to their communities.
