Abilis Launches 2025 Holiday Gift Drive to Bring Joy to Children and Adults with Disabilities
The annual effort supports families in the Abilis Early Intervention Birth to Three program and adults in its Life Services program.
Abilis has kicked off its 2025 Holiday Gift Drive, inviting the community to help brighten the season for children and adults with disabilities across Fairfield County. The annual effort supports families in the Abilis Early Intervention Birth to Three program and adults in its Life Services program — many of whom have limited resources or no family support during the holidays.
This year, Abilis is partnering with The First Bank of Greenwich to expand donation opportunities, adding three new drop-off sites at the bank’s branches in Cos Cob and Stamford, Connecticut, and Port Chester, New York. Donations are being accepted now through Dec. 12.
“For families with limited incomes — especially those caring for a loved one with a disability — the holidays can be an especially challenging time,” said Amy Montimurro, CEO and president of Abilis. “With generosity and support for our Holiday Gift Drive, the community can help make the season brighter for these special members of our Abilis community.”
Abilis is seeking new toys, books, and clothing for children ages 1 to 3 and for adults in its programs. Donors may contribute in person or ship items directly through the Abilis Amazon Holiday Gift Wish List. Tax-deductible monetary gifts are also welcome at www.abilis.us/donate.
