Pink Lemon is a newly opened gift and accessories shop located right in the heart of City Center, focused on bringing a small shop experience to downtown Danbury.

Its founder and operator, Leila Roxo, moved from Brazil to the United States in 1997 when she was just fifteen years old. After earning her associate's degree in e-commerce from Katherine Gibbs in Norwalk, CT, she entered the fashion world to pursue her passion.

"Previously, I have worked for several wholesale businesses in the fashion industry. However, I have always wanted to open my own shop as a woman-led business. My goal for the store and the website is to make it a place where people can shop for little gifts and create special moments within my community here in Danbury," said Roxo on her website.

Most of the items the shop carries are from women-owned companies. The goal is to offer a fun and friendly shopping experience to everyone that walks through the door. You'll find everything from fun hostess gifts to glamorous jewelry pieces that are sure to brighten your day. You can shop in person or entirely online.

Next time you are looking for something special, or a gift for someone special, please be sure to stop in. And don't forget that Mother's Day is right around the corner!
