We will be reopening the schools with a hybrid, in-person learning model, beginning on Monday, October 26, for all grades K-12. Preschool is anticipated to return the following week and more information will be forthcoming. Given the medical team’s recent analysis of the state data related to the COVID-19 community spread, we now fall in the “Moderate Range.” This, along with the large number of students requesting distance learning, will allow us to implement the hybrid model safely while conducting classes in combination with the mitigation strategies of social distancing and wearing masks. I expect that we will be in the hybrid model until the District is advised otherwise by state and local health officials.
Confirmation of your child’s program selection (in-person hybrid or full distance learning) will be sent to you in a separate email Call (203) 797-4713 if you need more information.
